At a press conference on 31st October, the Prime Minister announced that, due to the rising number of cases of COVID 19, England needed to enter a second period of lockdown. Later that evening, the Government issued further guidance that Churches would be required to close their services.
This, obviously, came as a disappointment to us, given that we were gradually re-opening!
In line with Government requirements, we are closing our “live” services for the time being. We will return to offering the service online and via CD/DVD.
Whilst services may not be able to take place in person on a Sunday, we are continuing to run Enfold as a takeaway service, as we have done throughout this period. We are hoping a sufficient number of volunteers will step forward to help. If you can help, please call the church office on (01255) 474391.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have worked so hard filming, producing and distributing our Sunday services. We would also like to thank those who have volunteered at Enfold and cleaning the building.
Finally, these times of lockdown can be very hard. If there is anything we can do to support or help you, please call the Church office.
