We begin our service at 10:30am. Children and young people leave for ‘Connect‘ (from age 3) and ‘Connect+‘ (School Year 5 upwards) part way through the service, where they have fun, play games and learn about the Bible. Under 3’s have the use of a crèche (parents must accompany). Everyone is welcome to stay for tea, coffee, biscuits and (sometimes!) cake after the service.
We hold Sunday evening services as announced. The service is more informal than the main Sunday morning service.
Prayer is essential in all we do at Pier Avenue Baptist Church. There is opportunity for prayer before the service in the quiet room, after the service in the prayer corner at the front of the Church with the prayer team.
Communion occurs during the first Sunday morning service each month and occasionally on a Sunday evening. We invite all those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour to join us for communion.
The Church is fitted with a hearing loop. Please adjust your hearing aid to the ‘T’ position. There is also wheelchair access to the building and dedicated seating areas within the Church.
