Fundraiser Coach Trips
Windsor, Windsor Castle or The Savill Garden

Saturday 10th July
You may select your destination on this day out - enjoy your day at leisure in Windsor.  You may choose to spend time in the royal palace, Windsor Castle, seeing the State Apartments, the magnificent Royal Art collection including some of the finest works by Rembrandt, Rubens, Canaletto & Gainsborough.  See for yourself the beautiful restoration following the fire in 1992, the Gothic architecture of St George's Chapel, and Mary's Dolls House, the incredibly detailed and most famous dolls house in the world.  There is an extra exhibition on this summer too, some of the most beautiful portraits of the young Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret taken in the 1920's and 30'sby Marcus Adams (as recently publicised on BBC's 'Breakfast').  The Savill Garden is in Windsor Great Park and here you will discover the secrets of one of England's finest woodland and ornamental gardens extending over 35 acres.  New this year, the Rose Garden will provide a vivid and stunning addition.  Telephone 01255 434143 or pick up a brochure with details from the Church

Diggerland Theme Park or Chatham Royal Dockyard or Upnor Castle and Rochester

Saturday 14th August
A great day out with a choice of three destinations - the fabulously enjoyable Diggerland where your entry ticket allows children and adults alike to have the chance to ride in, and drive, different types of construction machinery including dumper trucks, mini diggers and giant diggers (all under strict supervision).  You could visit Chatham Royal Dockyard, set in 80 acres and packed with historic architecture, historic ships and museum galleries.  Or visit Upnor Castle, built in 1559 on the orders of Queen Elizabeth I as a gun fort to defend her warships at anchor in the reaches of the Medway & Chatham Dockyard.  In the afternoon, we will move on from Upnor Castle to enjoy some time in the beautiful historic town of Rochester.  Telephone 01255 434143 or pick up a brochure with details from the Church.

'Tickets Please!' - A guided tour of St Pancras Station and the London Transport Museum, London

Saturday 11th September
Our guide takes us on an enjoyable guided tour of Gilbert Scott's gothic hotel and station, reborn today as the new London terminal for Eurostar.  In the afternoon we move on to the London Transport Museum where we will conjure up what it was like to travel by public transport 200 years ago and we will 'board' a 1938 tube to watch the decades pass as passengers embark and disembark inperiod clothes.  We will also see the old transport posters, many of which are now major works of minor art created by some of the finest artists of their day.  Telephone 01255 434143 or pick up a brochure with details from the Church.

Maimie's 'Call My Bluff'

Saturday 2nd October 2010: 7.30pm
As always a light-hearted evening of word fun as two teams battle it out for supremacy in their knowledge of obscure but very real words from the English Language.  Watch this space for details of how to obtain tickets nearer the time.

BBC Television Centre Tour & Westfield Shopping

Saturday 9th October
You will be able to spend some time in this new, fantastic shopping centre, but during the afternoon we will meet up to enjoy an interesting visit of the BBC Television Centre where we can gain a fascinating insight into the world of BBC Television.  What goes on behind the scenes here has been one of the best kept secrets for 40 years, but the secret is now out and we are welcomed to find all about it for ourselves.  Telephone 01255 434143 or pick up a brochure with details from the Church.

Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre

Saturday 27th November
This Christmas Fayre has now scooped a top award for its highly successful Christmas Fayre.  Come with us to enjoy the individual markets and stalls spread throughout the town, in its landmark buildings, in the shopping centres and into Abbey Gardens.  Come and join us to see this beautiful town gloriously dressed with the Christmas spirit.  Telephone 01255 434143 or pick up a brochure with details from the Church.

'A Clifftastic Christmas'

Saturday 11th December 2010: 7.30pm
Following the highly successful 'Cliff As If' event early in 2009, we are delighted to welcome back this Cliff Richard tribute act for what we know will be another very enjoyable evening's entertainment. If you came to the event in 2009 you now know that you will have a good time, and if you did not, then please don't miss this highly entertaining performer this time as he returns to PABC.
