You may select your destination on this day out - enjoy
your day at leisure in Windsor. You may choose to spend
time in the royal palace, Windsor Castle, seeing the State

There is an extra exhibition on this summer too, some of the most

a gun fort to defend her warships at anchor in the reaches of the Medway

Our guide takes us on an enjoyable guided tour of
Gilbert Scott's gothic hotel and station, reborn today as the new London
terminal for Eurostar. In the afternoon we move on to the London
Transport Museum where we will conjure up what it was like to travel by
public transport 200 years ago and we will 'board' a 1938 tube to watch
the decades pass as passengers embark and disembark inperiod clothes.
We will also see the old transport posters, many of which are now major
works of minor art created by some of the finest artists of their day.
Telephone 01255 434143 or pick up a brochure with details from the
Church.

As always a light-hearted evening of word fun as two
teams battle it out for supremacy in their knowledge of obscure but very
real words from the English Language. Watch this space for details
of how to obtain tickets nearer the time.

fantastic shopping centre, but during the afternoon we will meet up to
